Product Description, Little Giant 5-MD-SC 583503 high 27ft max lift Inline Aquarium and Mild Acids Pump, 115v, 18 hp , 2.1 a, 208 Watts, True magnetic drive. Coming in at an astounding 27 ft shutoff head. As good as a standard 5-msp direct drive pump. And does this with only 208 watts. Pump features 1/8 hp capacitor start air cooled motor and is built on a true magnetically driven platform ( meaning no contact with fresh or salt water with motor or shaft) making this unit a continuous duty work horse. Wetted parts are made of non-corrosive materials bill with shaft and thrust washers made of titanium. Great for Aquariums , fresh or salt water , mildly corrosive acids, brine , plating solutions, Alkalis, solvents and sterile solutions.
